Preferred is hiring a part-time HR recruiter for our Northeast Philadelphia, PA office. The HR recruiter is responsible for actively recruiting, interviewing, and onboarding nurses and home health aides.
Duties of Position
Responsible for recruiting nurses and home health aides for specific needs within the office.
Responsibilities of Position
- Responsible for the recruitment and selection of employees based on applicant credentials and qualifications, including training and licensure, and proactively following up with applicants when needed
- Posts ads and conducts job fairs to help recruitment
- Uses a consistent and non-discriminating process to select employees as follows:
- Conducts personal interviews with all applicants at the time of recruitment and selection
- Obtains two written or verbal employment references and job history
- Verifies education, experience, training, and license or certification, as appropriate to job responsibilities
- Tracks applicants as they are called and interviewed, and as they enter the hiring process
- Selects and employs qualified individuals
- Coordinates an orientation program for all new employees, including an introduction to the organization, staff, and employee rules and responsibilities
- Ensures that all employees meet their required mandatory training and keeps records of in-services
- Confirms that all employees are meeting the performance expectations stated in their job descriptions by communicating with supervisors
- Verifies that all employees are in compliance with the mandatory requirements for employment
- Retains strict professional ethics, confidentiality, and privacy
- Maintains a current client roster with necessary information
Job Conditions
- Position will be remote at the outset and then transition to an office environment; during the remote part, you may be asked to come into the office for training or meetings
- May be stressful in terms of meeting deadlines
- High call volume
- Position will be part–time Monday to Wednesday, with flexible 8–hour shifts; the employee may be moved into full-time HR position based on performance and office development
Qualifications
- A college degree is preferred
- Two years of recruiting, human resources, or equivalent experience is preferred
- Experience in home health care preferred
- Customer service–oriented
- The ability to utilize a PC, calculator, multi-line telephone, and other office equipment
- The ability to communicate well, both verbally and in writing
